• The role will assist in the effort to conduct on-site operational due diligence of XXXXX external investment advisors
• Pre-visit: Request and review various legal documents, polices & procedures, and other information from XXXXX external advisors
• Liaise with internal investment personnel and members of the enterprise risk team to prepare for on-site operational due diligence meetings
• Develop an understanding of each external advisors’ operational procedures and then prepare an agenda for an on-site meeting with the expectation of discussing related topics with key personnel from the external advisor
• Assist in the actual on-site due diligence process, including: asking questions, site tours, qualifying answers to previously submitted questions, and detailed record keeping of the findings
• Post-visit: Follow up on outstanding questions and concerns
• Draft and finalize operational due diligence reports for XXXXXX internal risk group and investment teams highlighting areas of concern and steps for potential remediation
• Develop a follow up plan with regard to next steps to be taken by XXXXX and/or external advisor
Compensation: 120K-150K
